• Important: This version of AppTrap no longer supports OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard or OS X 10.7 Lion. AppTrap now requires OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion or OS X 10.9 Mavericks.
  • Both the preference pane and the background process have been signed with a Developer ID. This makes AppTrap play nice with Gatekeeper.
  • Mavericks ready.

Background Process Changes

  • Rewritten background process that takes full advantage of modern OS X technologies.
  • AppTrap is now much faster, particularly on older, slower Macs.
  • AppTrap is now better at finding files for sandboxed apps.
  • The expand window button has been made more clearly a button.

If you're updating from a version of AppTrap older than 1.0.5, you will have to manually restart the AppTrap background process. To do this, click Start AppTrap and then Stop AppTrap in the General tab.

Thanks to Transmission for the release notes!
